Kaley Ann Kunkemoeller, 24, was arrested for multiple drug charges on Friday as part of a long-term investigation, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
Kunkemoeller is accused of selling and possessing oxymorphone, a highly addictive opioid also known as Opana.
She fled on foot but was later captured.
Kunkemoeller was taken to Martin County Jail, and a photo of her in custody shows her smiling.
She wasn’t smiling in a subsequent photo, however.
After learning that her bond amount was $310,000, “she had a change of heart,” the Martin County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a statement.
Kunkemoeller remained jailed Monday, according to the sheriff’s office, and “more arrests are on the horizon.”
Her arrest was part of Operation Relentless Pursuit, in which at least 52 people have been arrested on charges for selling or distributing oxymorphone, a detective with the sheriff's office said.
