Spring Hill Police Department - Tennessee - Officer Christopher Odom, 26, loses job after rape, sexual battery indictment linked to traffic stops
Officer Christopher Odom, 26, is no longer with the Spring Hill Police Department following an internal probe alleging he sexually assaulted at least two women during traffic stops in June and July.
The investigation prompted one count of rape, sexual battery and two counts of official misconduct from a Maury County grand jury.
He was arrested and jailed on Monday, but Odom has since been released from custody after posting a $75,000 bond, according to jail records.

Odom, a former Marine, joined the Spring Hill police force in 2013, according to the law enforcement agency’s Facebook page.
Spring Hill is home to at least 31,000 people about 30 miles south of the Tennessee capital of Nashville.
