Golf legend Arnold Palmer goes to the big lemonaid stand in the sky - dead at 87 - At his request his body will be cremated and the ashes placed into a limited edition Arnold Palmer golf ball set

PITTSBURGH -- Arnold Palmer brought a country-club sport to the masses with a hard-charging style, charisma and a commoner’s touch. At ease with both presidents and the golfing public, and on a first-name basis with both, “The King,” died Sunday in Pittsburgh. He was 87.
Alastair Johnson, CEO of Arnold Palmer Enterprises, confirmed that Palmer died Sunday afternoon of complications from heart problems. The United States Golfing Association also confirmed his death on Twitter.

LBE: Arnold Palmer Regional Airport
One of the best kept secrets in Pittsburgh area.
Private jets can come and go with little notice or
fanfare. Benefits everyone from corporate titans
to sports figures and rock stars, and of course the
general public. All because Arnold had the gumption
to become jet certified. Forget Travolta; Palmer was
first. 50 years in the sports world and always a
gentleman. Arnold Palmer set the bar and he set it high.

2-4-2 Fox Trot (The Lear Jet Song)
Love it. The Lear Jet was invented by a guy
who never went to college. Those were the days.
Vote TRUMP and you have a better than even chance
that our glory years will return.

Make America Great Again
The Byrds used industrial noise (jet engine sounds)
BEFORE the Beatles did in Back In The U.S.S.R.
(NOT the other way around, as most people think).
GO AMERICA!

RIP Mr. Palmer.

We never heard of Arnold pounding his wife, snorting coke, Driving drunk, getting into altercations with the Police, banging ho's two at a time - He was a gentleman. He never got political, that I heard of. His endorsements were, I believe, limited to clothing, cars, watches etc. His personal fortune carried him right to the end. He carried himself with dignity - You knew who he was, but he never demanded attention. He didn't wear enough gold to furnish a jewellery store and he didn't wear garish clothing even on the course. He was the epitome of a rich white man. He gave the game decorum and made it popular.

Let's see a nigger do all that he did...Yeah right...

Arnold was all class and was generous with his time and treasure. I met him while caddying on the PGA tour in Milwaukee in the 1970's and saw greet golf fans and sign autographs for everyone. He was also a good family man and not like Tiger Woods. He donated millions to charity. RIP a gentlemen's gentleman.

Arnold Palmer was a class act both on and off the course. As successful as he was as a player, he may have been more successful in business ventures after he retired. He was a gentleman who carried himself with dignity. He was a sports figure with CLASS in all he said and did, a long lost trait with today's generation.

Rest in peace, Mr. Palmer. The world is a better place today because of you.

Arnie wasn't in those commercials. It was Willy Mays. He and OJ would come out and do a dance routine and then Willy would shove a baseball bat up OJ's ass to demonstrate the extra legroom in Hertz cars.

He also wore plaid leisure suits in 70s. Don't try to make a saint out of him.
