Large Fights Break Out at Chicago's Corliss High School, in the 800 block of East 103rd Street, after basketball game


CHICAGO, IL - Fighting broke out at a high school basketball game Friday night in the Roseland neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
Police responded to a "large fight" during the game at Chicago Public Corliss High School, in the 800 block of East 103rd Street, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
Authorities arrested several people for minor offenses, Alfaro said.
Following the fight, officials called off the game, in which Corliss was facing South Shore High School, Alfaro said.
Marielle Sainvilu, spokeswoman for the Chicago Public Schools, confirmed that a disturbance had taken place and said school officials were investigating.
