CHICAGO BLACK VIOLENCE CONTINUES DESPITE THE COLD WEATHER - 5 wounded in South, Southwest side shootings

At least five people have been shot in three attacks on the South and Southwest sides this evening, according to police.
In the latest attack three people, two men and a woman, were shot in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood about 8:30 p.m. The three were shot in the 6200 block of South Rockwell Street, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Joshua Purkiss.
A woman, 19, was shot in the chest, and a man, 31, was shot multiple times, while a man, 23, was shot in the leg, Purkiss said. All three were being treated at Holy Cross Hospital, said Purkiss, who had no information on the victims' conditions or the circumstances of the shooting.
About 7:45 p,m., a 31-year-old man was shot in Marquette Park neighborhood, Purkiss said. The man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and his condition was stabilized on the scene, said Purkiss.

If the same crazed Mutants roaming Chicago were in Iceland they would still be "icing" each other left and right. The old idea of cold weather keeping crime down has gone out the window.

it appears Chalkie is doing very well
running "Full Throttle" and in "High Gear" like the postman not rain not sleet not cold will stop Chalkie on his appointed rounds he is dedicated

Wow... Shot in the chest and being treated at Holy Cross? Back in the day when I lived over there, that place was only good to get stitches for a cut. If I'm shot, ill take my chances on the ride to Christ thank you.
