17 year old black boy shot multiple times by Chicago's Marquette Park - Soon to be an official organ donor
MARQUETTE PARK, CHICAGO - A 17-year-old boy was wounded this afternoon during a shooting on the Southwest Side, according to the Chicago Fire Department. Paramedics were called to the 7100 block of South Rockwell Street about 3:45 p.m. for a shooting victim, according to Chicago Fire Department Chief Joe Roccasalva.
The boy was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, said Roccasalva. Police said a 17-year-old was found with multiple gunshot wounds at that location. No one was in custody as the investigation was underway.
